Bet calculator

Over/Under Calculator

Settle an Over or Under bet from the final score. The calculator shows whether the bet won,
was a push (stake returned), a half win, a half loss or a full loss.

It works with common lines such as 2.5, 3.0, 2.25, 2.75 and similar totals.
On quarter lines the stake is split into two halves automatically.

The calculator settles an Over or Under bet: win, loss, push (stake returned), half win or half loss.

Lines ending in .00, .25, .50 and .75 are supported. On .25 and .75 lines the stake is split in two, so a half win or half loss is possible. Decimals may use a point or a comma.

How totals are settled

Total 2.5

Over 2.5 needs 3 or more goals. Under 2.5 needs 2 goals or fewer.
A half line can never be a push.

Total 3.0

Over 3.0 wins with 4 or more goals and loses with 2 or fewer;
with exactly 3 goals the stake is returned.

Totals 2.25 and 2.75

Quarter lines split the stake in two. Over 2.25, for example, is half the stake
on Over 2.0 and half on Over 2.5. That is why a half win or a half loss is possible.

Under 3.01:23Push3 equals the 3.0 line.

Over 2.752:13Half winOver 2.5 wins, Over 3.0 is a push.

How to read the result

Win

The whole bet won. Returns are the stake multiplied by the odds.

Push

The final total landed exactly on the line. You get your stake back and the net profit is zero.

Half result

On quarter lines the stake is split in two. One half can win or be returned,
the other can lose or be returned.

FAQ

What does Over 2.5 mean?

It is a bet that the match will produce 3 or more goals, points or other counted events,
depending on the sport.

What does Under 3.0 mean?

The bet wins if the final total is below 3. Exactly 3 means the stake is returned.
More than 3 and the bet loses.

Why can Over 2.25 end in a half loss?

Because a 2.25 line is split into 2.0 and 2.5. With exactly 2 goals the 2.0 half is returned
and the 2.5 half loses.

Is it only for football?

No. It works for any sport with a match total market: football, ice hockey, basketball,
tennis games and more. Check your bookmaker’s rules for the specific market, though.

Note: the calculator applies the standard maths of totals.
Before you bet, check your bookmaker’s rules, especially for extra markets,
overtime, penalty shootouts, sets, games and quarter lines.
